Hello! We are glad you are here! My name is Megan Kurth, born and raised in Burlington. I am the owner and administrator of Little Wanderers.

Little Wanderers began as a vision when my husband and I started our family in 2020. I left teaching in a public school to be at home with my young children. I provided in-home care for a few families and the need for care continued to grow, not only in our little circle but in our community. My education and experience equipped me with the ability to open and run a childcare center, which ultimately my children could attend to provide learning opportunities, structure, and socialization in a safe environment - my reason and drive to open Little Wanderers. We opened in October of 2023 and quickly realized the need for quality care and early education in our community was at large. We added on to our building which allowed us to add more children and expand our age range of children we would accept. Our goal is to remain a small childcare focused on quality over quantity. Today, we operate as a licensed group childcare servicing up to 28 children a day, ages 6 weeks - 6 years.
